2016 SuperTech Challenge

May 6-7, 2016

Friday: 5pm-8pm / Saturday: 7am-9pm

Utah Valley Universtiy

UTA Supertech-Long

Utah Trucking Association is heading a Utah SuperTech Challenge that aims to promote the industry to students as well as give professional diesel technicians an opportunity for recognition of their exceptional skills.

This event is a competition much like the Truck Driving Championship that Utah Trucking’s Safety Management Council has been hosting for that last several years. The competition will consist of 12 practical skills stations and a written portion. There will be two separate competitions, one for students and one for professional technicians. The first place professional and the first place student will compete in TMC’s National SuperTech Competition.

This first event will be held at the Utah Valley University Sparks Automotive building on Friday, May 6th and Saturday, May 7th. Find more information as well as a registration and sponsorship form by clicking here.

This is great opportunity to raise the profile of the technician to the general public. If you would like more information or to be involved, contact the UTA office: 801.973.9370 | kelsey@utahtrucking.com.
